HC Den Bosch is the first finalist of the EHCCC 2013!

01.04.2013 - In the first semifinal of the EHCCC in Hamburg favourite HC Den Bosch scored two early goals against German Champion RW Cologne. It was corner specialist and Olympic Champion Maartje Paumen, who converted a corner with a brilliant dragflick in the upper right corner in minute two. Only six minutes later she flicked a penalty stroke in the upper left corner – no chance for Cologne keeper Julia Ciupka.

Den Bosch dominated the match, but Cologne had its chances, for example with four corners. But they missed an executor with the format of Maartje Paumen. In the second quarter Marloes Keeteis extended the lead for Den Bosch with a shot from the middle of the circle.

Cologne struggled to come back, but only in the last quarter they were the side with more and better chances. So a shot from Lea Stoeckel hit the post a few minutes before the end. All in all a well deserved win by HC Den Bosch. They Dutch leader of the table is the first finalist of the EHCCC 2013!
